Walk to Bempton Cliffs "Of Mists and Mellow Fruitfulness" and Dolphins! - 8th October 2021

Nature's Jewells

The weather app was showing bright sunshine, the reality was a sea fret! By the time I reached the cliffs, the fret was burning off to give a mild, sunny morning. I decided to take advantage of the sea fret in order to obtain some atmospheric images hence "Of mists and mellow fruitfulness" courtesy of Mr Keats!

As the sun broke through and the sea fret burned off, out came the birds. Unfortunately, I cannot hear many of the calls which makes locating them difficult. Best birds for me today were a fly over Lesser redpoll, Jay (locally rare), four fly through Lapwings and a very late Common Swift.
