Bempton Cliffs Sunrise Walk, Some of the Birds - 25th October 2021

Snow Bunting

Post sunrise, what birds could be found? Well star of the show has to be the very friendly, long staying, male Snow Bunting, located this morning near Jubilee Corner viewpoint! What a stunning bird!

The cliffs certainly look naked with most of the breeding birds now gone. However, look carefully and a few Gugas can still be seen.

Overhead, varying numbers of Pink Footed Geese can be seen and heard

Question during the breeding season is "Where are the Puffins?", now it is "Where are the Owls?", indeed, where are they?
