Bempton & Buckton Pond to Pond Walk - 5th October 2021

Buckton Pond

A much better morning than was actually forecast, with stormy conditions and heavy rain overnight. I decided to stay local and had a very pleasant walk encompassing the ponds at Buckton and Bempton.

Buckton Pond, filling nicely again courtesy of recent rain. Even the scrape extensions have water in them. All that is needed now are some decent birds. I'd settle for Spoonbill, Glossy Ibis, Stork species or Crane!

My all time favourite weather vane!

And we didn't get wet! Bonus!!
