Sunrise Walk to Bempton Cliffs - 11th October 2021

Pink Footed Geese

At this time of year, you don't need to get up mega early for the sunrise! With a clear night, a decent sunrise was on the cards so I was drawn up to the cliffs, albeit starting off in darkness. Once clear of the village lighting, the pre-sunrise opened up

Once on the cliffs

I headed towards New Rollup viewpoint and let it all open up before me

I then walked on to Staple Newk, which on my last visit, still held many Gannets. Today, Gannets were few, but there were still some Guga being serviced by their parents, some with a while left before they fledge

Always nice to see a Roe Deer
