Mooching on Flamborough Headland

Puffin

A lovely spring morning, light mist early on, becoming sunny and warm.

Started off at South Landing with a couple of circuits of the nature trail.

Barn Owl

Song Thrush

Yellowhammer

Dunnock

Male Bullfinch

A great walk with the sounds of Willow Warbler, Chiffchaff, Blackcap, Lesser Whitethroat, Song Thrush, Blackbird, Yellowhammer et al resonating through the woodland.

Moved on to the lighthouse and fog horn.

A Hoopoe had been seen in the gorse field, but would it still be there? Yes, "crippling" views (not!).

Spot the Hoopoe!

Hoopoe (record shot)!

Razorbills and Guillemots

Flamborough Puffins

Common Whitethroat
