Bempton Circular Walk

Gannet "ragging" the vegetation

A cool start to the morning gradually warming with sunny periods and blue sky. Not a bad birding morning and excellent for my Bempton circular walk, with Symphony, of course. Not a lot of change with spring migrants increasing and all of the breeding seabirds present on the cliffs.

Most of the action involved the Gannets, with many "ragging" the cliff top vegetation for "gifts" to take back to their beloveds on the nest site. This vegetation, seaweed or whatever takes their fancy, will be graciously received and then placed into the nest.
