Bempton Birder on Vacation - A little bit of fun on Lindisfarne! September 2020.

 The "Twitcher"

"Bob, the Birder"

Our visit to Lindisfarne (Holy Island) coincided with the village Scarecrow Festival. A lot of effort had been put in and funds were being raised for the village church. Unfortunately, the weekend also coincided with very strong winds resulting in some scarecrows being damaged, some in rather strange poses, and some probably in orbit around the moon! Still it was fun, I'm sure any birders looking at this page can relate to (or even name) the above scarecrows!

Apologies to scarecrows not published due to wind damage or those "missing in action"!
