Glorious Gannets, Bempton Cliffs - 16th August 2020

Well, at least the sea fret has gone! This morning was very dull and overcast but retaining a mild feel. Due to the sea fret, this was the my first visit to the cliffs in a week. Noticeably, the Kittiwakes are thinning out and soon it will be just the Gannets, Fulmars and Herring Gulls.

Few words are required in this post as the title "Glorious Gannets" says it all!

Year 3 Gannet

One of the many "clubs" of immature and non-breeding Gannets

The Gugas are "blackening" up rapidly

Could this be the start of a new pairing near Bartlett Nab?

And finally, a random Fulmar!
