Otter
The Ardnamurchan Peninsula is wild and remote with "big landscapes" meaning it can be very difficult to get close to its wildlife. Obviously an element of luck is required and occasionally the wildlife is close, but when it is, I am usually somewhere else! But that is nature!
We had several Otter sightings during the week, distant, but giving me my best views ever! This one was on Loch Sunart.
Similarly, White Tailed Eagles were seen but distant (life tick) and enjoyed through the scopes.
Staying with the distance theme, these Red Throated Divers were observed on Lochan na Crannaig
