Ardnamurchan Adventures 20th - 27th May 2019 (Part 6)

Puffin

I know! I know! I can see Puffins and other seabirds within a mile of my house! A trip to the Islands of Staffa and Lunga were included in my tour of Ardnamurchan and it was with some trepidation that I told myself it would be a different experience and the sea journey would be calm. I need not have worried, the sea journey was made on a very fast and stable catamaran so no sea sickness this time!

As for the wildlife, the islands were fantabulous and a puffintastic experience ensured humungous enjoyment! Indeed, it would have been great to "Linga Longa on Lunga!

I have to say that Puffins are devious little birds that are able to capture your mindset, make you spend a great deal of time at their colonies and force you to take hundreds of images!

I think it safe to say that I am now completely "Puffined" out!
