East Lea, Filey - 10th September 2024

Curlew Sandpiper

Returned home to Bempton from Rugby today and once the car had been unloaded, I had a quick trip out to the members only East Lea reserve. I hoped to touch base with two year ticks, that of Curlew Sandpiper and Little Stint. Success on both, but as I usually find, the waders were at the opposite end of the pool to the hide! Only the Curlew Sandpiper was briefly obliging! Not a bad hour though.
