Bempton Cliffs Sunrise Walk - 25th September 2024

With the rather cloudy, damp and foggy weather of late, today promised to be a tad better! Alarm set and out of the house while it was still dark, in the hope of a decent sunrise, up on the cliffs. Looking up, the sky seemed clear and stars were visible. It was a tad cool for shorts but I persevered!

Looking up, the waning crescent (44%), third quarter Moon

The following images portray my walk to the cliffs and back. Again, as is common here, a large, thick bank of cloud sat on the eastern horizon!

Thank you for looking.

Webs and their Designers, Bempton - 22nd September 2024

Another drab day with wet fog and a cool north east wind. Not ideal for humans but it can show up an excellent array of "webs and their designers". The following compilation were taken on a walk through Bempton village. The spiders portrayed are Garden Cross Spiders.

Embracing Scarborough in the Fog - 21st September 2024

I needed to drop the Reverend off at Seamer station this morning, so decided to have a drive into Scarborough. It was a tad foggy! However, this wasn't going to stop me and I embraced the presenting conditions around the harbour, in north bay and Peasholm Park. Fog, I believe, makes photography challenging but makes images atmospheric.

I do love old structures! I am one!
