Aspects of Bridlington Harbour & Bay (Birds) - 26th August 2023

Razorbill

The harbour and bay seemed to be full of birds this morning, with an incoming tide. Hundreds of Guillemots and Razorbills, most either juvenile or winter plumaged adult birds, inside the harbour and in the bay. A few Common Terns and at least fifty Sandwich Terns headed both north and south. Wader numbers have increased and this morning I ticked my first Knot of the year.
