Barn Owl
Symphony and I continue to enjoy our permitted early morning four mile patch walk, with no human contact for 97% of the walk! Wednesday 8th, gave me the opportunity to see photograph the "pink" moon. Unfortunately, I forgot to look out during the night, but I was pleased with the early morning images!
Linnets can be the most difficult of birds to photograph, usually nervous and flighty. I struck lucky though!
I was not so lucky in my attempts to capture a Skylark in flight, this was my "best"!
The Bempton area is very lucky with Barn Owl numbers and it is always good to see their "ghostly" image hunting
I have been asked on a number of occasions why I am not showing any seabird images. The reasons are simple:
I do not want to encourage people to travel to the cliffs during this difficult time.
The reserve is officially closed.
It would be unfair to publish images that others cannot take.
I'm sure a lot of the birds will still be present when this lockdown is lifted. If not, then we can all look forward to 2021!
Please, stay at home, be safe, be responsible and as soon as lockdown is lifted, then game on!!!
