Lockdown Birding 15th - 16th April 2020

Yellowhammer

With a big plaster on my heel blister, I have been able to carry on with my permitted health walk with Symphony. Spotted some excellent spring migrants, Ring Ousels, Wheatears et al, most of which have had no desire to star in a photograph! The good weather continues and it is so eerie walking the tracks around Bempton and Buckton. At this time of year, the cliffs would be crowded but alas, not at the moment. Hopefully, all will not be lost and some degree of normality will return before the seabirds return to the sea.
