Aspects of Bridlington Harbour & Bay - 21st January 2023

What a pleasant day! If you were able to negotiate the numerous icy areas, a glorious sunrise followed by blue sky, blue sea and sunshine. Where the sun made contact, it was pleasantly mild, but unfortunately, in the shade, the ice remained, determined to catch out the unwary. Three walks around the harbour, pre-sunrise, sunrise and early afternoon.

My sunrise images were taken using a tripod and remote shutter release, a variable graduated filter and a shutter speed of c2seconds.

Pre- Sunrise

Sunrise

Sunrise, zooming in

Early Afternoon (Is it really January?)

Even the Pirate Ship was out

Pirate Ship entering the harbour, but photobombed by a Herring Gull!

And finally, who can resist a Robin?

All images taken with Sony RX10 Mk4.
