Bempton Cliffs Walk (Sunrise & Landscapes) - 18th August 2022

A later start than planned (0515hrs) and the sky looked grey, nothing like the wall to wall sunshine promised by the met office. As we progressed to Cliff Lane, Bempton, a glimmer of redness could be seen in the sky. Once past the carbuncle caravan and chalet park, the redness had enlarged and incorporated orange. The sunrise certainly surprised me!

As we approached the cliffs, a large thick, grey cloud mass decided to engulf the sun, so my hoped for "golden" cliffs would not materialise!

A random spot of colour!

At the "gateway to Filey" all was grey
