Aspects of Bridlington Harbour & Bay (Birds) - 20th August 2022

 

Sanderling

A cool, fresh start to the morning with sunny periods and a cool breeze. Two wanders around the harbour but "same old", so I concentrated on the bird life in the vicinity. It was pleasing to see my first Sanderling of the autumn, distant but obliging. I thought it might be a good morning for waders with the tide coming in, but........
