A cool start to the day but warming up, sunny periods and variable cloud. High tide in the harbour for my two wanders, but the light over Bridlington Bay was rather "special!"

The light, post sunrise, gave a golden glow to the cliffs and showed the Gannets in all of their glory! The on shore, northerly wind assisted in capturing the Gannets "hanging". What could be better than, golden "hanging" Gannets?
I've not walked up to the cliffs for several days, envisaging it being a tad busy with the bank holiday weekend. This morning we headed up as a large thick cloud base built up. I was very surprised as we walked up Cliff Lane that the cloud had broken enough to offer up a golden glow as the sun appeared!
What a fantastic display of floral talent decorating St. Michaels Church, Bempton! The subject was "Journeys" and well done to everyone involved in all capacities. A few images that I hope you will enjoy.
