"Walking in a Winter Wonderland" to Bempton Cliffs - 28th November 2021

Yesterday (27th) was a "no go" day! Storm Arwen arrived and attempted to wreak havoc along the coast! It was a stay at home in the warm sort of day! This morning, the strong gales had abated, only to be replaced by snow! Well a gentle covering! My title is a little bit exaggerated, it is still late autumn and "a winter wonderland", you decide!

Today should be my volunteering day but The RSPB have issued a closure notice -

UPDATE: The visitor centre will remain closed. Due to wind and snow the reserve is not safe today. We would strongly advise any visitors to reschedule their visit.

Symphony was well prepared for the "adventure"

The snow drifts were phenomenal! 😇

Evidence of Storm Arwen's presence (some of the RSPB visitor centre roof sustained damage)

And now to the "winter wonderland"! 😇
