RSPB Bempton Cliffs (2) - 7th November 2021

Goldfinch

A rather pleasant late autumnal day with sunshine and blue sky, but a cool, strong south westerly blow. A quiet day for wildlife though. A male Stonechat was on the cliff path, a Redshank called but couldn't be located, several Red Throated Divers were on the sea, several Guillemots were also on the sea, a few Gannets (including a year 1 and 3) flew through, and a Brambling over the visitor centre.

Great Black Backed Gull

Corvids held their AGM on Grandstand

Didn't like the motions so voted with their wings!

  1. Loved the 'corvid AGM', great way to put it. They always look like they are dealing with important matters!

  2. They are such overlooked birds but so enigmatic.
