Oh! What a Beautiful At One with All Nature Morning!

Pre-sunrise Bempton Cliffs

A heavy frost promised a clear start to this mornings walk but would it produce a great sunrise? Although the ground was frozen solid, the paths and roads were not too slippery, thankfully, as Symphony tends to panic and pulls on the lead, with me giving a rendition of Bambi on ice!

The morning seemed darker than normal, perhaps due to light cloud, but a hint of redness appeared over the eastern skyline.

From the rather chilly cliffs

Bempton, guardian of the cliffs, continues with his vigil. To alleviate boredom, he's started to balance small stones! I have still not found out Bempton's origins!

After a brilliant pre-sunrise, every thing fell a bit flat! The colours faded as cloud cover increased so, rather than hang around (not allowed!), I continued along the cliffs and back down Hoddy Cows Lane.
