Images from Brid Harbour - 2nd January 2021

Brid Gansey Girl

May I start by wishing you all a very Safe and Happy New Year!

First day out in 2021 with the camera! The following images are all around Brid Harbour and Bay and are taken with my Sony RX10 mk4, hand held. My images this year will (hopefully) depict being at one with nature.

The cloud base was very thick at sunrise so no images but later in the morning a few atmospheric images were possible.

Thankfully, despite some threats, it did not rain!

And now, some of the wildlife to be seen in the harbour and bay.

Purple Sandpiper

Turnstone

Redshank

Oystercatcher

Herring Gull

Great Black Backed Gull

Black Headed Gull

Cormorants

Pushing the camera over its limits, Great Crested Grebe in Brid Bay

Seal

Nature can be sad at times, none more so than seeing wildlife becoming affected by human detritus, in this case fishing line and no doubt an embedded hook.

Thank you for looking at my blog - please stay safe and enjoy nature!
