Images of My Wild and Windy Walk to Bempton Cliffs - 4th January 2021

Cliff Lane Bempton

The weather forecast was not inspiring suggesting strong winds and blustery showers and yes I received full force of both! I did wonder about the value of carrying my camera(s), yes I have reintroduced my Canon 7Dmk2 with 400 5.6 prime lens. I didn't use this but fully utilised my Sony RX10 mk4, handheld. At times the wind literally "took my breath away" and valiantly attempted to "blow the man down..." while on the cliff tops! Definitely experienced being at one with nature!

I started my walk up Cliff Lane with a bit of black and white

The cliffs were wild, difficult to depict in a still image - really must learn how to work with video!

There was no visible sunrise, just dull shades of bright! However, as I walked back down Cliff Lane, a brief area of golden clouds further depicted the wildness of the morning

Nature provides wonderful opportunities even on the wildest days. It is to be enjoyed by all, but please stay safe!
