North Landing to Flamborough Head (and back!) - 17th July 2020

Puffin

A lovely walk at 0500hrs this morning from North Landing to Flamborough Head and back. Cool, with wall to wall sunshine, perfect! The only downside was hay fever exacerbated by the clifftop grassland! I had not been to Flamborough since lockdown in March so it was nice to return and I only met four people! Perfect!

Spotting Puffins can be difficult and although they are seen at Bempton, I often think that you get better views at Flamborough!

Breakfast is about to be served! Meadow Pipit

Juvenile Stonechat

Linnets

Although Shags can be seen at Bempton, you certainly get better, not perfect though, views on the headland!

The "iconic" Herring Gull at Breil Newk!

"Summer Rose"

Although I arrived after sunrise, I managed to capture an atmospheric moment (iPhone 7)
