Hummingbird Hawk Moth - 13th June 2014


Not being into Butterflies and Moths, this fantastic little creature was observed, hovering over the flower beds! I wasn't sure what it was and had never seen one before! Its not easy trying to use a 500mm for macro! When I arrived home, it was out with the ID books and postings on social media for confirmation. I must go around with my eyes closed! Note too self - try opening them!
