Suffolk - Glossy Ibis

Glossy Ibis @ Minsmere

Pager messages were indicating a number of Glossy Ibises at Minsmere, a life tick, so it was with fingers crossed as we walked the reserve. At the sluice gates, a couple of birders on the sea wall called us over and in the distance with several Little Egrets, was a Glossy Ibis! The downside was the distance away but it provided good scope views. A few minutes later the Egrets and Ibis were in the air and I managed a few record flight shots.
