The Olympic Torch Comes to Rugby

The Spirit of the Olympic Flame!

Most of you will know that "fur and feather" is my photographic passion. However, the Olympic Torch was due to pass through Rugby and I had the unusual and overwhelming urge to be part of it. I chose to view on Dunchurch Road near to Kingsway. Arriving early, I was surprised at the number of people already waiting with these numbers swelling considerably before the Torch and convoy arrived. A quick word with the marshalls informed me that a "kiss" would occur in the vicinity and I was pleased to be able to capture the passing on of the flame. I offer below some images and hope that you were able to participate in this special event.
