Minsmere Waders (or lack of them!) - July 2012

I had high hopes of observing some early passage migrants at Minsmere but hey ho they must have been somewhere else! Apart from the Avocets, numbers of other waders were very small, perhaps due to the high water levels and flood conditions. Observed were Oystercatcher, Ringed Plover (1), Dunlin (1), Knot (1), Redshank, Greenshank (1), Spotted Redshank (5), Ruff (1), Black Tailed Godwit (3), Lapwing and Curlew.
