I'm back and I bet that no one missed me!
A week in Suffolk based in the village of Wenhaston gave easy access to the RSPB Minsmere Reserve as well as the coastal marshes and heathland around Dunwich, Southwold and Walberswick. A few trips into Norfolk were of course obligatory, but not to any major sites! Weatherwise, we were very lucky and missed most of the heavy, thundery showers. A good weeks birding with a little bit of seaside holiday thrown in for good measure!
A good number of birds (102) including many year ticks and one lifer in the form of Glossy Ibis.
