Bempton Cliffs Walk - 15th September 2023

A misty start to our walk, post sunrise, and for a change we walked up to Bempton Cliffs via Hoddy Cows Lane and back down Cliff Lane. It was so quiet wildlife wise, of note, a singing Chiffchaff at Buckton Pond, a Willow Warbler at Jubilee Corner and a high flying Short-eared Owl over the derelict RAF Bempton (two birders did report three SEO's present). It was, however, good to be in the "great outdoors"!

There are still some Gannet Gugas on the ledges, these have a while to go before fledging!
