Bempton Cliffs Walk (Gannets) - 17th April 2023

Glorious Gannets! What more need to be said?

"Ragging" the cliff top vegetation to obtain "gifts" for their partners, which will further cement their bond and will also be added to the existing nests.

Quarrelsome

It has been observed that some Gannets returning to their nests have "black" eyes. This is believed to be as a side effect of suffering avian flu. The birds have not lost their sight and appear to be functioning normally. Time will tell.

Check this Gannets eye with those above!

Thank you for looking.
