Bempton Cliffs Walk (Birds) - 7th April 2023

Gannet

Not a bad mornings walk to the cliffs starting with a hunting Barn Owl on Cliff Lane (didn't see any on the cliffs). The cliffs were dominated by Gannets and Kittiwakes with only a couple of Fulmars seen. Not many Auks on the cliffs, mainly Guillemots and Razorbills, the only Puffin I saw was a distant fly past. Best sight for me was my first Gannet egg of the year, off Bartlett Nab. I'm sure there are many more but I felt proud for this pair!

Proud Gannet Moment!

Thank you for looking.
