Bempton Cliffs Walk (Passerines, Owls et.al) - 17th March 2023

 

Chiffchaff

A great walk to Bempton Cliffs this morning, very mild and bright! Bird song along the way was varied and forceful. Notably, Yellowhammer, Dunnock, Skylark, Blackbird, Song Thrush, Goldfinch, Chaffinch, Wren, et.al. Also of note were c6 Redwings flitting through the bushes, my first Chiffchaff (singing) of the year, and hunting Barn Owl.
