Garden Butterflies, Bees and Birds, Bempton - 8th August 2019

Painted Lady Butterfly

With little motivation to go further than the garden, I decided to do a little tidying and take a few images of whatever was slow enough to allow my camera to capture it! I also dug the macro lens out and had a go at a few bees which needs a lot more practice, not only with the lens, but also with identification! Help would be appreciated!!!

Red admiral

Painted Lady

Peacock Butterfly

Small Tortoiseshell

Holly Blue

Large White

Relaxing Robin

And now the difficult part! Please help me out with the ID if I've got it wrong, which I probably have!

? Bombus hortorum ?

? Eristalis horticola ?

? Eristalis arbustorum ?

Offers of ID gratefully received!

Maybe I should stick to what I know?
