Bempton & Buckton Walk - 15th November 2024

A slightly different walk this morning, taking in Buckton Pond, Buckton Gate, Bempton Lane and Bolam Lane. Only attempted knowing that the traffic would be greatly reduced due to the closure of Bempton Lane at the Bridlington end. What would catch my eye on this dull and slightly misty morning?

As autumn recedes

Isn't nature wonderful? Here, a female Mallard carries an exhausted male Mallard to safety on Buckton pond 😇

Use it or lose it!

Thank you for looking.
