"Ruddy" Turnstone

A very cool, grey and dull morning with some drizzle. Not the best day for the end of meteorological spring and summer starting tomorrow! Not a lot of bird species to be seen now, the majority being Kittiwakes and Herring Gulls.

It looks possible that the King Street Kittiwakes may have started to incubate. I do hope so. Pretty little birds, but that nest......!

 Word to describe today has to be Grey! The last day of meteorological spring and summer starting tomorrow and it is dull, grey and drizzly and a tad cool! It could pass for November and a bit of warmth wouldn't go amiss.
