Waxwings, Bempton Village - 27th November 2022

 

Typical! Just put my dinner on the table and word comes out that a flock of Waxwings had dropped in at Bempton & Buckton village hall. Too good a chance to see these fantastic winter visitors, so off I shot, hoping my dinner would be okay when I got back! I was not to be disappointed with a flock of c16/17, the largest group I had seen for several years. Record shots appended below.
