Guillemots
A tad grey start to the day, with a few bright periods and remaining mild.
Best bird of the day was a ring tailed Hen Harrier, hunting the fields on Cliff Lane, but distant.
Thousands of Guillemots on the ledges, in flight and on the sea.
Scores of Fulmars mainly in flight but a few on the ledges.
Small numbers of Gannets in flight.
Most people are familiar with seeing Guillemots with other Auks on the ledges during the breeding season. However, they do visit in the winter months from November until March, unfortunately you cannot predict when; how many; or how long they will stay. They are always welcome, with their guttural growling, breaking up the boredom of naked cliffs!
Scores of Fulmars

All over the reserve, the RSPB are promoting "Robin Robin" with a ridiculous "comic" Robin. I prefer the real thing!
And finally, a few random leaves
