Northumberland Sojourn, Ford Moss - 8th September 2022

Ford Moss Nature Reserve

A pretty wet day but a few dry periods, wandering around Ford Moss, a SSSI, old quarry, woodland and peat bog. High hopes for wildlife, but sadly disappointed! That is, until the end of the two mile walk, when a massive, fast moving flock of birds were enjoyed in the woodland. Two fast to count or photograph but included Nuthatch, Treecreeper, Blue Tit, Coak Tit, Great Tit, Long Tailed Tit, Goldcrest, Wiilow Warbler, Chiffchaff and Spotted Flycatcher!
