Bempton Cliffs Walk (Wildlife) - 17th September 2022

Gannet

A marked turn towards autumn this morning with a cold northerly blow. A heavy cloud base initially kept the sun hidden, but it eventually won through with sunny periods. It remained cold though, unless you were sheltered. Struggled a tad on the cliffs, a combination of the wind and Symphony pulling me away from the sound of the pounding sea below. She is terrified of the sound of waves, and as a result kept pulling me away very strongly, resulting in most images being binned! (My excuse 😇!).

Has to be said "Why did the Pheasant cross the road?"

Gannets

Shag

Tree Sparrow

Juv/Fem Blackcap

Greylag Geese

A few fruits

All images taken handheld with Canon 7D Mk2 and 400mm 5.6 prime lens, except the last three fruits which were taken handheld with Sony RX10 MK4.
