Thornwick Pool, Flamborough - 20th July 2021

Great White Egret

Being in the area and with half an hour to spare, I popped into Thornwick Pools in the hope that the Great White Egret would still be present. It was! Also managed to get a year tick with Green Sandpiper, seeing one of two present.

Grey Heron

Third leg or a mighty poop! 😇

The Green Sandpiper was to far away to obtain a useful image!

Images taken handheld and into the brightness, with Canon 7D Mk2 and 400mm 5.6 prime lens.
