RSPB Bempton Cliffs (Some of the Birds) - 11th July 2021

And Streeeeetch! Kittiwake chick

The morning was once again dominated by a heavy sea fret with very reduced visibility (subject of a separate blog page). The sea fret burned off by mid morning giving better access to views of the breeding seabirds and happier photographers! With regards to the Black Browed Albatross, there were no sightings until late afternoon when it returned to the Staple Newk Area. There has been a large reduction in Guillemots and Razorbills from the cliffs, but some still remain, some still with chicks. Gannets, Kittiwakes, Fulmars and Puffins still remain in good numbers, most with chicks of varying stages of development.

Puffins Showed Well!

Others slightly better!
