My Walk to Bempton Cliffs - 22nd November 2020

Kestrel

Proper birding has taken a bit of a back seat this year! The images I take are "whatever takes my fancy" while out walking Symphony! Mainly on early morning walks whereby the sunrise usually captures my focus. This morning, however, we were a little late for the actual sunrise, (which friends tell me was fantastic), so I had to see what I could capture as post-sunrise images!

Post Sunrise

I still haven't found a happy medium for my bird / wildlife images which are quite grainy. I don't think my Sony RX10 works well in poor light situations, but then again, would my DSLR? Probably not!

From the cliffs this morning, a couple of Gannets flew through, several Shags were on the water, Fulmar numbers are still increasing and c4-500 Guillemots were on the ledges.

Maybe I need to go out later in the day when the light is better?

Stay safe out there!
