Oh Deer! Thornwick Pool, Flamborough Headland.

Roe Deer

The weather today is AWFUL! Strong, cold northerly wind, rain and just generally unpleasant! I dropped Heather at RSPB Bempton Cliffs for her volunteering role - I don't envy standing on the viewpoints today! I then headed out to Thornwick Pool near North Landing, Flamborough, hoping the pair of Garganey would still be present, but alas they had gone, leaving very little to see. That is, until this delightful Roe Deer appeared.

The water held very little until this proud Grey Lag Goose family appeared out of the reeds!
