Northumberland, Staple Island, Shag, Kitiwake & Fulmar - 16th May 2014

Shag

Todays trip was nearly a no go! I had booked to go with Serenity at 1045, but when I arrived at the booking office they had cancelled all trips to Staple Island! Moving to Billy Shiels kiosk, I learned that they were going and landing and had been all morning. Luckily I got a seat on the last landing boat - phew! Staple is my favourite landing island, close views of the birds, rugged nature and a feeling of being part of the nature around me.

Shag

Kittiwake

Fulmar
