Black Necked Grebe
Having spent the morning in Whitby, we called in at Scarborough Harbour on our way back to Bempton. The blue skies and sunny periods of the morning rapidly gave way to dark cloud, dullness and drizzle. This can only mean one thing when taking photographs - record shots resultant of high ISO and low speed! Predominantly black and white birds do not bode well against grey water and grey skies. The Black Necked Grebe did it's best to show well and of course I had to try and do it justice! The water surface did create some interesting patterns, colours and reflections.

Symphony looking a little bit confused!
I debated stripping to my underpants in order to replicate this fine figure, but age and cold got the better of me!
