"Gifts for my Beloved!" Gannets at RSPB Bempton Cliffs.

After last weeks disaster, I managed to undertake voluntary duties at RSPB Bempton Cliffs this morning, spending time on Bartlett Nab and Grandstand. It was a grand day and the reserve was very busy, but unfortunately for our guests, the Auks decided to play hard to see by going back out to sea! It was really nice seeing the Gannets bringing "gifts" of seaweed, dried grass and other items to be graciously received by their partners before being used to enhance this years nests. Time was also taken first thing on Bartlett Nab capturing images of the sea from c400ft!
