RSPB Blacktoft Sands 27th June 2015

Marsh Harrier

A first time visit to the RSPB reserve of Blacktoft Sands produced year ticks in the form of Spotted Redshank, and a five year tick of Montagu's Harrier with both male and female giving good scope views. Unfortunately, the drake Ring Necked Duck decided to have an "away day", being seen in the morning before we arrived and later in the afternoon after we had left!
