Snettisham Waderfest (1) - 24th July 2013

Bar Tailed Godwit

The high tides at Snettisham can be hit or miss, so with a day off, I left home at 0300hrs and arrived on site by 0500hrs. I decided, rather than watch the Wash from the wader watch point, I would go to sanctuary hide and enjoy the spectacle from there. Amazingly, I had the hide to myself and only saw three other birders!
